About the Program
NAIS, an SBA-certified 8(a) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is proud to lead Team NAIS in pursuing the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) Support Program.
This program will deliver cybersecurity engineering, Navy Validator support, compliance, and technical documentation services to ensure mission-critical accreditation and cybersecurity readiness for U.S. Navy surface ships, carriers, submarines, and partner platforms.

Where You’ll Work
This role is hybrid: 80% remote / 20% on-site at Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD)– Philadelphia, PA.
Types of Roles on the NSWCPD RMF Support Program
We are building a diverse team of professionals who will provide cybersecurity, compliance, validation, and technical support for Navy systems. Roles will include:
- Cybersecurity Engineers (CSE I–III): Entry-level to senior engineers who design, implement, and support Navy cybersecurity systems.
- Navy Validators (FQNV I–III): Specialists who review and verify cybersecurity packages to ensure systems meet Navy security standards.
- Information System Security Specialists (SISS I–III): Professionals who manage system security tools, perform risk assessments, and help protect Navy networks.
- Information Assurance Compliance Specialists (SIAC I–III): Compliance experts who ensure Navy systems follow federal cybersecurity regulations and policies.
- Technical & Program Support: Roles such as Technical Writers, Configuration Management Specialists, and Acquisition Support staff who provide documentation, process management, and program support.

What We Look For
- Clearance: All roles require an active or interim Secret clearance. Some positions may require TS eligibility.
- Certifications: DoD 8570/8140 baseline certifications (IAT/IAM I–III, Security+ CE, CISSP, CAP, CISM, CASP+).
- Experience: Varies by role — from entry-level to 10+ years — in cybersecurity engineering, RMF compliance, validation, or IT support.
