JOB SUMMARY

We are a next-generation AI-powered MarTech and AdTech startup on a mission to level the playing field for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). By leveraging state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs), Agentic frameworks, and proprietary ML pipelines, we’re redefining how marketing and advertising ecosystems operate, with intelligence, scale, and automation.

We are seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to serve as the crucial link between our software development and operations teams. In this senior-level role, you will leverage your background in Full-Stack Engineering not to write application features, but to architect the ecosystem that makes feature delivery efficient, reliable, and scalable.

You will be responsible for creating and deploying the infrastructure and tools necessary for rapid software delivery, upholding the highest standards of quality and security. By fostering a culture of collaboration and automation. Your goal is to streamline our Java/Spring and Modern Frontend environments so that deployment is seamless, frequent, and fearless.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Integration of Development & Operations

  • Bridge the Gap: Act as the primary liaison between software engineers and operations. Use your deep understanding of Java/Spring and Frontend frameworks to translate developer needs into operational solutions.
  • Culture of Collaboration: Foster innovation by breaking down silos. Champion a "You Build It, You Run It" mentality where operations and development share responsibility for system health.

CI/CD & Automation Architecture

  • Pipeline Management: Design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to achieve elite deployment frequency.
  • Automated Testing & Deployment: Automate the entire delivery lifecycle. Ensure that unit tests (JUnit), integration tests, and frontend builds (React/Angular) are executed reliably within the pipeline to prevent regressions.
  • Efficiency Enhancement: Relentlessly identify manual bottlenecks in the software delivery process and eliminate them through scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools.

Infrastructure & Reliability

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Create and maintain scalable, cloud-native infrastructure on GCP (or AWS) using Terraform, treating infrastructure changes with the same rigor as application code.
  • Security & Quality: Embed security scanning (DevSecOps) directly into the build process to uphold high security standards without slowing down development velocity.

Monitoring & Observability

  • System Health: Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions to track application performance, providing developers with the metrics they need to resolve technical debt and optimize code.
  • Feedback Loops: Create rapid feedback loops that alert the engineering team to issues immediately, enabling quicker resolution and higher software quality.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of technical experience, with a specific focus on the intersection of Software Engineering and Operations.
  • Previous experience as a Full-Stack or Backend Engineer is required.

Technical Expertise (The "Full-Stack" Operations Toolkit):

  • CI/CD Mastery: Expert-level proficiency with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Backend Knowledge: Ability to debug and support Java and Spring Boot applications. You understand how memory management, garbage collection, and database connections work within the app.
  • Frontend Knowledge: Familiarity with the build and deployment lifecycles of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Cloud & Containers: Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloud Platforms (GCP preferred).
  • Database Management: Experience automating database migrations and managing schemas in a production environment.
