- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other related program is required. Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5–8 years of cumulative relevant experience is required, including 4–6 years of chemical process development experience and 1–3 years of market analysis experience, such as monitoring external patents, publications, regulatory updates, or product management within the pharmaceutical, activated polymer, or life science materials industries.
- Demonstrated ability to independently analyze complex technical and market data and develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience mentoring, training, or providing technical guidance to others preferred.
- Experience in activated polymers used for therapeutics, medical devices and/or diagnostics required.
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment.
- Ability to analyze market trends, conduct research, and interpret data.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in data mining, management and analytics.
- Ability to optimize work processes to work efficiently and respond to business demands.
- Self-motivated and action-oriented to drive activities for the business.
- Values collaboration with leadership, internal teams, and other key stakeholders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision at times.
- Perform reactions and interpret analytical data.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint are required. Experience with Market Intelligence and Research tools highly preferred.
