Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the development and oversee the execution of the marketing strategy for pharmaceutical products, including brand planning and strategy development.
- Responsible for analyzing the target market to identify business opportunities, supporting market communications and business development in progressing, documenting and reporting opportunity progression.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities, converting data into actionable insights.
- Manage promotional campaigns and create/manage marketing materials and digital content.
- Supports the marketing communications plan including content generation tracking, postings to various channels and direct email campaigns to generate in-bound leads.
- Work with the Executive Leadership team and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
- Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track campaign performance and ROI.
- Support internal teams with tools, training, and information to effectively communicate the company’s value to customers.
- Tracks and informs our target segments and the overall competitive environment.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.
- Identifies opportunities in our target segments using a range of databases to provide business development with qualified, out-bound leads.
- Receives and actions to business development in-bound leads and inquiries.
- Ensure all potential leads, contacts and companies are documented and tracked and reported in the customer relationship management system.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, including KPIs, and adjust to optimize impact.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a strong background in chemistry or related science is required.
- 5-10 years of marketing, product management, or field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment.
- Ability to analyze market trends, conduct research, and interpret data.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage marketing projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Experience with digital marketing channels and strategies.
- Ability to manage marketing budgets and track ROI.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems related to marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Experience in data mining, management and analytics (including customer relationship management).
- Ability to optimize work processes to work efficiently and respond to business demands.
- Self-motivated and action-oriented to drive marketing activities for the business.
- Values collaboration with leadership, internal teams, and other key stakeholders.
- Customer-focus oriented to ensure the value proposition is clearly communicated to customers through the company’s marketings plans and strategies.
