Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing Sales Lead process and internal Call Center with the ultimate goal being the expansion of Suzuki’s sales volume for Motorcycles and ATV products. Role requires strong leadership skills, advanced communications skills, the ability to work independently, advanced strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of sales processes and techniques.

Principal Tasks

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales lead efforts and sales conversion rates.
  • Develop an outbound and direct marketing strategy to respond to sales leads and customer product inquiries.
  • Evaluate and manage lead tracking, CRM systems, customer connectivity, and related technology to optimize lead management efforts.
  • Work with outside data management companies to produce effective direct marketing and customer outreach.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Management, Field Sales, and Suzuki Dealers
  • Analyze industry sales data, reports, and related information to identify hidden and potential incremental sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Communications Team to align lead generation efforts with marketing, advertising, and sales campaigns.
  • Through various channels, conduct customer outreach to generate interest in Suzuki products.
  • Establish and maintain communication with Suzuki’s customer base to maximize Service, P&A, and repeat purchase opportunities.

Scope of Authority

  • Under the direction and authority of the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing as delegated, make decisions when dealing with other departments, SMO staff, and outside contacts.
  • Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, work with National and Area Sales Management as well as corporate staff/departments to effectively develop sales lead programs and related activities to achieve plan/goal objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Work Experience

Five to 10 years’ experience in sales management, lead management, and outbound marketing.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, or related fields.

Required Skills

Strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving abilities are necessary. Must be able to demonstrate advanced interpersonal, organizational and communications skills to work with all levels of management in a multinational environment. Strong tech skills should include familiarity with Microsoft Office suite products, emerging AI technology, digital marketing tools, and related hardware and software.

Physical Requirements

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office environment and to use standard office equipment, including digital devices, and to attend meetings at various sites within and away from the home office. Strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over a telephone. Experience with and ability to operate powersport products a plus.
