Our Site Merchant and Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing our product offerings, merchandising strategies, and site performance to drive revenue growth and enhance the overall user experience. They are responsible for managing product assortments, optimizing site merchandising strategies, and analyzing site performance data to drive sales and conversion rates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ecommerce principles, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for delivering best-in-class online shopping experiences. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage product assortments and collections on the e-Commerce platform, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer preferences, and market trends 

  • Develop and implement site merchandising strategies to drive product discovery, increase average order value, and improve conversion rates 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and product development, to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and site enhancements 

  • Conduct thorough analysis of site performance metrics, including traffic, sales, conversion rates, and customer behavior, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement 

  • Utilize data analytics tools and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions 

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences 

  • Work closely with the design team to optimize site navigation, search functionality, and product presentation for an enhanced user experience 

  • Collaborate with fellow team members and development teams to implement site enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations in a timely manner 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, site merchandising, or business analysis roles. 

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms. 

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and content management systems (CMS). 

  • Solid understanding of ecommerce principles, including product merchandising, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities. 

  • Retail/eCommerce experience preferred 

  • Passion for e-commerce and a customer-centric mindset.
