Responsibilities

· Oversee all aspects of an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) firm’s project activity from Preconstruction to Commissioning.

· Support the negotiations of key Agreements

· Prepare and manage the lifecycle of a project schedule for Solar and Energy Storage projects.

· Support community and offtake relationships throughout the construction process.

· Prepare baseline schedules and other contractual documents for approval by project teams.

· Generate performance reports and customized status reports, identifying and reconciling discrepancies between the project schedule and the baseline schedule.

· Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible.

· Assess impacts and risks to the critical path and near-critical activities, develop mitigation plans, and report to the project team.

· Monitor schedule deviations, and variances, and assist in the developing of alternative methods for corrective action.

· Work with Development Project Managers, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

· Manage internal relationships including but not limited to legal, finance, development, engineering, and asset management.

· Liaise with third-party onsite OE/CM (Owner’s Engineer/Construction Management) firm(s)

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering, mathematics, business, or a similar discipline. Advanced technical or business degrees are encouraged.

· 7-10+ years of experience managing utility-scale solar construction projects (50MW or greater).

· Capacity to comprehend complex documents and effectively communicate project risks and impacts.

· Self-starter with strong intercultural communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

· Confident in presenting material to C-Suite level executives and external stakeholders.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

· Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and associated applications including MS Project, Teams, and Power BI.

· Certification in project management preferred (PMP).

· Ability to learn new software as needed.

· Ability to travel - up to 50%.
