Since 2011, we have been collecting, standardizing, and publishing criminal justice data to increase transparency, accessibility, and accountability. Role Overview

As a Product Manager I/II at Measures for Justice, you will be an integral player in the development and success of our product portfolio. Partnering closely with our Product & Design team, you will steward the full product lifecycle for your assigned product area(s), including discovery and development of new products. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams from various levels across the organization will ensure that we are delivering high-quality products to help communities reshape the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clearly communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned product area(s) to internal stakeholders, and ensure they are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timely and high-quality product development from concept to launch ensuring solutions create value and address problems 

  • Gather product requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and prioritize and execute the backlog for assigned product area(s), making data-driven decisions to ensuring we are doing the right work at the right time

  • Continuously gather feedback, conduct discovery, and measure KPIs to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new development

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to efficiently provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns

  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging by modeling inclusive behaviors and proactively managing bias

Your Experience

  • Demonstrated track record in product management positions

  • Significant experience with product management methodologies, processes, and best practices

  • Demonstrated understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) through previous work with engineering teams in an Agile environment

  • Proficient in user-centered design thinking, employing empathy, ideation, prototyping, and testing for innovative product development

  • Experience managing product backlogs, prioritizing features, and making data-driven decisions to drive product development

  • Strong ability to gather and analyze user feedback, conduct user interviews, and utilize data analytics to iterate and improve products

  • Experience working with tools such as Aha!, Miro, Shortcut, Roadmunk, Asana, Jira, or other related roadmapping software tools

  • Strong communication, listening, and collaboration skills, enabling effective cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder management

Bonus Points

  • Product management certification(s)

  • Experience with market research and analysis in criminal justice or in 2+ industries

  • Knowledge of social science, nonprofit, and/or government domains
