Measures for Justice is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to developing tools and services that help communities, including the institutions that serve them, reshape how the criminal justice system works. Since 2011, we have been collecting, standardizing, and publishing criminal justice data to increase transparency, accessibility, and accountability. Role Overview

As a Digital Marketing Associate I at Measures for Justice, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the Measures for Justice brand. You will spearhead the creation, planning, implementation, and evaluation of digital content strategies and campaigns, including for social media. You will also directly contribute to both internal and external communications to drive engagement for our stakeholders and staff. Through your expertise and contributions, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to reshape how the criminal justice system works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute organic and paid digital marketing strategies that are aligned with organizational goals

  • Serve as the program lead for all our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X)

  • Monitor analytics, create reports, and recommend improvements on campaign and strategy outcomes

  • Contribute content for communications and marketing, including newsletters, website copy, and brochures

  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to support business development, engagement, and fundraising functions

  • Support our SEO and SEA efforts

  • Manage internal and external partner relationships to develop cross-posting content strategies

  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging by modeling inclusive behaviors and proactively managing bias

Your Experience

  • Proven experience in a role focused on developing digital and/or social media marketing strategies

  • Skilled in developing, implementing, and evaluating performance for both organic and paid digital marketing campaigns, including for social media and Google platforms

    • Social media experience must include at least two of the following platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or X

  • Strong experience managing projects and balancing multiple priorities

  • Ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, training, and experiences

  • Availability for approximately 20% local, regional, and national travel, with national travel being the most common, to provide marcomms support at various events

Bonus Points

  • Proficiency in MailChimp, Constant Contact, or similar email marketing programs

  • Experience with business-to-business (B2B) marketing

  • Background leveraging digital marketing channels for fundraising efforts

  • Experience with WordPress
