General Purpose: The individual holding this position is required to support and demonstrate their commitment to the Longevity Health Plan Statement of Purpose, which is: To improve the health and quality of life of nursing home residents by caring for their unique medical, social, and emotional needs.

The IPA Partner Success Manager has accountability for independently resolving day-to-day issues and requests supporting a payor partnership. This position will work with multiple internal and external functions to completely and successfully resolve day-to-day operational issues. They will develop thorough reporting processes and dashboards to ensure managerial alignment. The Partner Success Manager will provide a critical bridge between a payor partner and internal functional leads needed to drive a specific outcome. They will coordinate and facilitate discussions with both internal and external stakeholders to support the resolution of operational issues.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing with a diverse set of matrixed stakeholders.
  • Develop a solid working knowledge of the details needs and requirements to allow for effective resolution of issues.
  • Lead the process to determine an IPA provider’s contractual status using a logical and reasonable set of assumptions to make such determination; demonstrated ability to clearly and articulately communicate such determination to internal and external stakeholder.
  • Work collaboratively with our payor partners to ensure complete identification of operational issues and lead the efforts to jointly develop resolution pathways.
  • Lead, coordinate and maintain an internal management process to enable Longevity leadership to gain visibility into ongoing issues and resolution progress. Design processes for proactive issue resolution, and drive remediation plans to ensure we hit objectives.
  • Monitor and track performance data to proactively identify issues and report out to functional owners and leaders concise observations.
  • Ensure overall compliance and delegation requirements are met.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Credentials & Coverage:

  • Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record and proof of automobile insurance required.
  • Auto liability insurance coverage per minimum required by home state.

 

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 2-5 years of healthcare experience, preferably with health plan, post-acute and/or long-term care experience.
  • Knowledge of government sponsored insurance programs, preferably Medicare Advantage. Familiarity with Medicare Special Needs Plans (SNPs) is a bonus, but not required.
  • Value based care experience operating in an at-risk for cost and quality environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills, with a curious mindset that can quickly develop and test hypothesis to solve problems. Be a thought partner to matrixed functional stakeholders.
  • Experience using healthcare data to achieve a specific objective, either in a client facing role or one where your ability to analyze and interpret information to internal stakeholders was a primary responsibility and success factor.
  • Ability to collaborate with customers and business partners to understand their needs and requirements and then translate them to internal stakeholders via requirement documents, work plans, written, and verbal communications.
  • Organized thinker with the ability to connect the dots and ask the right questions.
  • Ability to leverage core business tools at an intermediate to advanced level such as Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Confluence/Jira, Power BI and others to analyze and communicate data to stakeholders.
  • Organization and communication skills are paramount, demonstrated experience determining priorities and organizing a ‘to-do list’ is essential.
  • Willing to travel 10-20% of time as needed.

Founded in 2018, Longevity Health started as an Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNP), a type of Medicare Advantage health plan that addresses significant unmet needs of long-term institutionalized members who reside in nursing homes.  Through rapid growth from 2018 to 2022, we expanded our market footprint and currently offer ISNP Medicare Advantage plans in Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina.
