Longevity Health is growing rapidly and is looking to add new talent to our team. Longevity Health Plan currently has operations in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, and Pennsylvania with plans to start-up operations in other states in the very near future. Due to our rapid growth, we have an immediate need for a Senior Professional Healthcare Recruiter. 

 

General Purpose: The individual holding this position is required to support and demonstrate their commitment to the Longevity Health Statement of Purpose, which is: To improve the health and quality of life of nursing home residents by caring for their unique medical, social and emotional needs.

The Senior Professional Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for developing and implementing a sustainable and flexible Longevity Health employee recruitment and onboarding plans that meets the growth needs of Longevity Health for each market and enhanced clinician retention. This position works with the market Directors of Clinical Quality and Operations, ISNP Clinical Operations VP and HR Team to ensure right candidates are recruited for each position and to ensure effective onboarding. This position will understand the market recruitment needs, identify appropriate venues to recruit candidates and structure sourcing options within the defined recruiting budget/forecast. This position will also manage the requisition process, post job ads, ensure candidate references checks and provide offer letters per the defined LH/LWC process. Additionally, this position will report clinician turnover statistics, determine root causes for clinician turnover and define strategies and tactics needed for reduction. Uses expertise to make critical decisions on behalf of the business to ensure high quality clinical team members are recruited and hired in the time needed to ensure appropriate onboarding, training and credentialing prior to need. Hires, manages, and supervises, other recruitment support staff as hired, based on identified needs. Works confidentially and ensures private information is kept confidential. Follows all LHP/LWC HR policies and helps define additional policy and procedure needs, then works to put in place.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Identify a Clinical Recruitment Plan that includes timelines, deliverables, risks, to meet the defined hiring needs based on membership growth.
  • Launches social media campaign to assist with sourcing candidates, branding-working in conjunction with communications/marketing consultant and HR.
  • Job postings, reviewing/screening candidates, reference checks, creating job offers within defined templates, hiring guidelines.
  • Completes/oversees onboarding tasks needed to get NP ready for work.
  • Reports NP hiring, turnover stats on a monthly basis.
  • Maintains Hiring Onboarding tracking document and informs hiring manager of the status of selected candidates.
  • Regularly meets and reviews Recruitment plan and status towards targets with key stakeholders and develop risk mitigation plans when targets are not met.
  • Identifies trends in clinician turnover and develops strategies/tactics to mitigate trends working with Chief Clinical Officer, ISNP Vice President Clinical Operations and Finance.
  • Hands off new hires to the appropriate LWC/LHP contact to ensure equipment, training, IT set up, and market readiness activities are completed.
  • Regularly reaches out to new hires to ascertain satisfaction or determine barrier to success and communicates to the appropriate Plan leader.
  • Other recruitment duties as assigned.

 

Licensure:

  • There are no licensure requirements for this position.
  • Auto liability insurance coverage per minimum required by home state.

 

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or Arts in marketing, communication, healthcare, business.
  • Professional Healthcare Recruitment training- formal or on the job.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience recruiting healthcare providers for assignments in a variety of healthcare settings.
  • Exceptional track record of recruiting qualified healthcare providers to meet the needs of business served.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet hiring goals and reduce provider turnover.
  • Extensive experience in successfully sourcing the right candidates for the job in multiple markets.
  • Demonstrated success working in a competitive environment find and successfully onboard providers within budgetary guidelines.
  • Microsoft Office Products- immediate skill.
  • Social media and job boards posting, writing ads.
  • 5 or more years as a healthcare recruiter working to recruit NPs, docs, PAs, RNs.

Founded in 2018, Longevity Health started as an Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNP), a type of Medicare Advantage health plan that addresses significant unmet needs of long-term institutionalized members who reside in nursing homes.  Through rapid growth from 2018 to 2022, we expanded our market footprint and currently offer ISNP Medicare Advantage plans in Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina.
