Warehouse Assistant

 

Job Description:

Responsible for distributing and stocking merchandise throughout the warehouse including caring for shop equipment. Also responsible for locating, selecting, organizing, and loading of merchandise for web store sales and freight shipments. We seek someone who understands the value of collectible items and carefully packs each box with the fans in mind. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.


Position Requirements:

Requires Monday through Friday availability. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise, up to 35 lbs. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. 

Responsibilities include:

·   Receive, open, unpack and issue sales merchandise.

·   Mark items with identifying codes, such as stock or inventory control codes.

·   Continuously re-stock items into the assigned areas.

·   Replace damaged or missing items after communicating with Supervisor.

·   Help fill online web store orders, which includes carefully packing collectible merchandise for shipment.

·   Work with staff on inventory and orders.

·   Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct.

·   Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.

·   Other duties as assigned.
