Job Title: Social Media Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, organized and creative Social Media Manager to join our video games team at Skybound Games.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts, as well as handle our growing community.  The person in this role will be the touch point for social, working closely with the marketing, PR, sales, content and production departments of Skybound to create engaging content calendars.

Reports to: Brand Directors

Responsibilities:  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
• Create, schedule, post, manage and oversee social media content calendar
• Measure the success of every social media campaign
• Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, video games and technologies
• Use social media marketing tools such as Sprout
• Responsible for tactics and execution – start to finish of a campaign
• Attend video game conferences when applicable
• Some Community management & engagement
• Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development, Production and Content teams within Skybound.
• Provide constructive feedback on campaigns

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch and other social media platforms and related best practices
• An understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Good understanding & proven past of campaigns that have defined most important social media KPI’s
• Knowledge of basic Graphic Design tools a bonus (for content creation posts)
