§ Tuition Reimbursement. Pinao offers medical, dental, vision, group term and supplemental life and accident insurance, short- and long-term disability programs.
Medical Benefits: The medical plan is administered by TriNet HR III, Inc. TriNet provides several options of coverage for eligible employees and his/her dependents. Pinao pays 80% for each employee and 50% for dependents.
Dental Plan: The Dental Plan is administered by TriNet HR III, Inc. TriNet provides several options of coverage for eligible employees and his/her dependents. Pinao pays 100% for each employee and 50% for dependents.
Vision Plan: The Vision Plan is administered by TriNet HR III, Inc. TriNet provides several options of coverage for eligible employee and his/her dependents. Pinao pays 100% for each employee and 50% for dependents.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs): Pinao employees are eligible to enroll in one or both of the following and contribute to tax-free dollars:
· Health Care FSA: Can be used to cover eligible health care-related expenses. Employees can contribute up to $2,650 per benefits plan year.
· Dependent Day Care FSA: Can be used to cover eligible expenses related to the care of a child (under age 13) or certain eligible dependents. Employees can contribute up to $5,000 per calendar year.
Life Insurance: The Life Insurance Policy is administered by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Pinao pays for full coverage for each eligible employee at one (1) times the rate of their annual salary.
Short-Term Disability: Short-Term Disability Insurance is provided by The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. Pinao pays 66.67% of the premium for each eligible employee.
Long-Term Disability Insurance: Disability Insurance is provided by The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. Pinao pays 66.67% of the premium for each eligible employee.
401K: Pinao provides a 401K plan through Voya. Pinao pays for all administration fees and provides matching funds up to 4% of a participating employees’ gross income.
Temporary duty: (Two Weeks – 80 hours) Military Leave: In addition to the rights and benefits provided to Employees taking Extended Military, eligible Employees who must be absent from their job for a period of not more than ten working days each year in order to participate in temporary military duty are entitled to as many as ten days paid military leave. All benefits will continue during a Employee’s temporary military leave.
All Other (Extended) Military Leave: Employees ordered to active duty and directed to participate in extended military duties in the U.S. Armed Forces that exceed ten working days will be placed on an unpaid military leave of absence status for a period of as long as five years and will be entitled to the rights and benefits afford to them by law and corporate policy.
Remote Location Allowances: Pinao policy allows for Hybrid/Work from Home within the following constructs: § All Work from Home activities and schedules must be approved in writing prior to the work from home benefit starting.
Personal Time Off (PTO): Pinao provides PTO to cover activities such as vacation and sick leave for eligible employees at a rate of 5 hours per pay period. PTO accumulating from day one of employment with Pinao.
Tuition Reimbursement/Educational Assistance: Pinao recognizes its employees are vital resources whose talents are critical to the success of the company. For employees pursuing educational advancement related to their current position, Pinao offers an education assistance plan, which encourages self-improvement through formal education so that employees can improve or maintain job-related skills or enhance their ability to compete for reasonably attainable jobs within Pinao. Pinao provides 100 percent (up to $2,500.00 per year) of tuition/training cost for eligible employees.
Additional Elements of Pinao’s Compensation Plan
Holidays: Pinao follows the government holiday schedule. Employees are eligible for eleven holidays during the year. Holidays may vary based on contractual requirements. If an employee is required to work a holiday due to a contractual requirement, the holiday can be deferred and taken at a later time within the fiscal year. Pinao takes the day after Thanksgiving in lieu of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Full-time employees will be given the following eleven paid holidays:

Flexible Schedules: Pinao understands the need for a proper work-personal life balance and provides flexible work schedules whenever possible. We also encourage telecommuting wherever appropriate which decreases time spent commuting and increases time spent with family and friends.
Bonus Plan: The Bonus Plan is established to reward outstanding performance by company employees. This plan is applicable to all full-time employees after the first year of employment, excluding company officers. The basis for award is as follows:
§ Recognition of outstanding performance by a customer.
§ Recommendations that lead to cost reductions or cost-effective improvements or services.
§ In the discretion of the President, an employee has made an outstanding contribution to the operation of the company.
Awards will be authorized by the President of Pinao. Total awards for any fiscal year cannot exceed fifteen percent of the payroll for that fiscal year.
