Job Description
As a VFX Artist, you will craft real-time particle systems to generate an array of visual effects in the style and expectations of the projects Art Style. Use your arsenal of tools to maximize the potential of procedurally generated effects that will ultimately guide the audience through a stimulating visual narrative.
Responsibilities
• Create libraries of Niagara particle effects
• Conduct R&D on various features tied to the primary VFX tool
• Contribute to the visual effects pipeline
• Fulfill visual expectations within technical requirements
• Collaborate with Art, Tech and Design
Qualifications
• 3 years of experience as a Real Time VFX Artist or similar role
• 2 years of development experience in UE4
• Experience in Simulation Software (Realflow, Fume, Nuke, etc) to enhance your particle systems
• Expert in Cascade,or other software for generating particle effects
• Mid to Expert level knowledge of Niagara
• Strong understanding of game development processes and limitations
• Proficient in optimizing particle systems, materials, and logic
• Familiar with current art techniques and work pipelines
• Great interpersonal, oral, and written skills
• Adaptable to evolving corporate culture
