About the Operations Assistant Position: LCFC seeks a full-time Operations Assistant to support operations, technology and organizational development. This position is ideal for a highly organized, strategic thinker who is interested in learning about multi-entity infrastructure and what it takes to run them.  A successful candidate will possess a background in administration, database and project management. We are looking for an individual with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills who approaches their work through curiosity and collaboration.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Logistical Support: 

  • Assist with operations logistics like building and equipment access.
  • Assist with Information Technology projects including database creation and maintenance.
  • Assist with the organization and management of electronic files related to our multi-entity structure
  • Perform administrative support for meetings with stakeholders.

 

Data Entry and Technology Management:  

  • Data entry and database management – this will include cleaning, organizing and transferring data to new platforms.
  • Assist with the implementation of organization-wide artificial intelligence (AI) projects.
  • Run reports using various databases as needed to leadership team.
  • Support in the coordination of multiple contractors/advisors for the technology projects.

 

Systems Maintenance: 

  • Ensure that all technological platforms are operating smoothy.
  • Assist team members with troubleshooting and reporting issues with technological platforms.
  • Keeps current on issues/trends related to the philanthropic sector, foundation projects, and technology related news (cybersecurity, new developments in AI, policies related to sensitive information).
  • Identify technological needs for optimizing internal workflow.

 

Organizational Development: 

  • Assist the Vice President of Organizational development with staff trainings related to building access and new technology available.
  • Assist with new staff orientation and onboarding.
  • Provide project management support with projects that involve moving offices and/or delivery of new technological equipment.

  • Highly organized with a systematic work approach.
  • Creative problem-solver who works quickly and effectively with multiple tasks across multiple projects.
  • Strong technology skills and troubleshooting ability, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams), Google Applications, project management software, community suites, and webinar/videoconferencing tools.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new and/or specialized software programs and emerging technology.
  • A clear and direct communicator with strong interpersonal skills, including experience in working collaboratively in a team.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Enjoys teaching others about technology
  • Bilingual/Bicultural a plus.

Education/Experience:  Prior experience supporting programs and projects at various levels in an organization or through lived experience; AA or BA/BS or advanced degree in Organizational Management and/or Computer Science a plus.

 

Schedule: Typical work schedule Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Flexible hybrid work approach after probationary period is satisfied with two optional hybrid days (Wednesdays and Fridays). Some evenings and weekends will be required. 

 

Salary: Starting salary of $53,000. We take into consideration a candidate’s years of experience, education level and special skills like being bilingual, relevant professional certifications and direct lived experience.
