Our community focuses on dignity, safety, and enriching daily experiences for every resident. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support our Dietary team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

Position Summary:
The Dishwasher plays a vital role in ensuring sanitary kitchen operations by cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and food preparation areas. This position directly supports our mission by helping provide residents with safe, high-quality meals in a comfortable setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dish room, and storage areas.
Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with facility procedures.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure a safe work environment.
Assist with stocking supplies and putting away deliveries.
Support dietary staff with basic food prep tasks as assigned.
Follow all infection control, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Immediately report equipment issues or safety concerns to the Dietary Manager.
Work cooperatively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Previous dishwashing or food service experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening (per state regulations).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Frequently lift up to 30 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
Comfortable working in a warm, wet environment.
