About the Role
We’re looking for a Digital Event Specialist to support and execute internal webinars and track all webinar metrics. As the Digital Event Specialist, you’ll own the digital event calendar and create exceptional digital events that showcase Starburst’s customers and product. You’ll partner with the sales team to ensure they have the events they need to be successful. You’ll also work with our alliances team to identify opportunities to create compelling events with partners. We’re looking for a hard-working and detail-oriented marketer who loves to plan events and enjoys partnering with different functions across the business. This role reports to the Event Marketing Manager.
Digital Event Planning
Be responsible for maintaining the webinar calendar, and promotion calendar for each webinar
Webcast management; manage schedule, webinar set up, participant invites, recordings
Creates webcast registration pages
Prepares the event script for the moderator to read the day of the webcast and housekeeping slide
Account-Based Marketing Program Management:
Work with sales team to create digital programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for specific, targeted accounts and contacts
Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned digital activities
Identify opportunities to improve digital event effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and content
Partner Event Management:
Determine the key partners to focus on to plan and execute digital events
Work with partner team to create a digital event strategy and incorporate into the global webinar calendar
2-3+ years of marketing experience working for a software company planning events
Very strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Committed to engaging with and delighting customers
Proven relationship-building skills with sales teams
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Familiarity with a range of martech and analytics tools (Our stack includes Hubspot, Wordpress, Salesforce, GoToWebinar, Sendoso, Google Analytics)
Experience running digital + in-person events
