Position Summary:
The Script is expanding its external brand presence and strengthening its digital engagement across social media and web platforms. This role will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy, oversee content creation and curation, and provide ongoing analytics and performance reporting. Additionally, the position will work closely with organizational leadership and an external agency to support The Script’s rebranding initiatives and upcoming website enhancements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy, Content Development & Reporting
The role will lead social media strategy and execution for The Script’s priority platforms, primarily LinkedIn and Instagram.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement platform‑specific strategies for LinkedIn and Instagram.

Create and publish 1–3 posts per week across priority platforms.

Draft compelling post copy and develop or coordinate required visual assets.

Ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all content.

Schedule and manage posts using approved tools (e.g., Sprout Social).

Monitor audience engagement and conduct basic community management and triage.

Stay current on platform trends and recommend ongoing optimization strategies.

Script Brand and Website Upgrade Support:
This role will support The Script’s rebranding initiative and website enhancement efforts in close partnership with the Chief Impact Officer and an external branding and/or web agency.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in brand and website sprint planning sessions.

Audit existing website content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand goals.
-
Identify content gaps and opportunities for improvement.
-
Map content needs to the updated site structure in collaboration with the agency.

Draft and prepare updated website copy and page content.
-
Coordinate content reviews and approvals and compile final content packages for agency implementation.
-
Support content entry and updates within the website platform (e.g., Squarespace).

Assist in rolling out updated brand language across digital channels.

Education and Experience:
3–5 years of professional experience in social media management, digital marketing, or digital communications.

Benefits:

This position is a temporary part‑time role and is not eligible for additional employee benefits.
-
Paid Sick time is accrued at at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked or 1 1/3rd hours for every 40 hours worked.
Compensation
-
This is a temporary, three‑month position.
-
Classified as part‑time, requiring approximately 10 hours per week.
-
Compensation will be paid at a rate of $833 per month, totaling $2,500 for the three-month term.
Employment Terms

This a hybrid position in Portland, Oregon.

The daily schedule and in office days will be a result of collaboration between the employee and their supervisor.
