JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create visually compelling designs across various mediums, including digital, print, and social media. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and executing design concepts that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Project Completion Rate: Percentage of design projects completed on time with a goal to ensure timely delivery of all design projects.
- Quality of Work: Number of revisions required per project with a goal to minimize the number of revisions by improving the quality of initial designs.
- Creative Output: Number of design assets created (e.g., social media posts, brochures, website graphics). Goal is to meet or exceed the expected number of deliverables.
- Efficiency: Time taken to complete design tasks with a goal to reduce the average time spent on each task without compromising quality.
- Innovation: Number of new design concepts or ideas proposed and implemented with a goal to encourage and track innovative design solutions.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Design Organizational Visuals: Partner with the marketing team to create all organizational visuals. This includes, but is not limited to, logos, letterheads, brochures, presentations, promotional materials, products, merchandise, internal brands, advertisements, booklets, gifts, greeting cards, landing pages, social media content, infographics, business cards, campaigns, icons, emails, newsletters, website elements and event specific design.
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive and consistent visual identity.
- Collaborate on Creative Concepts: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative concepts and campaigns.
- Project & Time Management: Handle multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting all deadlines.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and integrate best practices into design work.
- Produce Multiple Design Versions: Create various versions of designs as required to meet project needs.
- Develop Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the Multi-Media Manager to design and develop elements for a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Gather Design Requirements: Meet with team members to understand and define the requirements and vision for design elements.
- Quality Assurance: Review finalized materials to ensure there are no errors in design.
- Vendor and Freelancer Coordination: Handle vendor agreement forms with design and marketing freelancers and communicate invoices with For Others Accounting.
- Print Process Knowledge: Maintain an understanding of print processes, set up documents for print, and manage relationships with print vendors.
- Advanced Design Skills: Maintain a thorough knowledge of advanced graphic design principles such as illustration, storyboarding, and typography, and apply these skills to manipulate typography for designs.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio of work showcasing a range of design work.
- Examples of previous projects in various mediums (digital, print, web).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong understanding of typography, color, and layout.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Knowledge and experience in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, Bridge, and XD are a plus.
- Web Design: Ability to create responsive design with experience in UX design and HTML.
- Print Design: Knowledge of printing processes, layout and typography
- Multimedia Design: Video editing (adobe premiere, After Effects) and experience with animation
