The Arizona Jewish Historical Society (AZJHS) preserves and celebrates the rich heritage of Arizona’s Jewish communities and educates the public about Jewish history through dynamic arts, educational, and cultural programming.
The Hilton Family Holocaust Education Center (HFHEC), opening in August 2027, teaches the lessons of the Holocaust to inspire a more just and compassionate world. Through immersive storytelling, survivor testimony, and civic engagement, HFHEC empowers students and visitors to confront antisemitism and choose courage over indifference.
HFHEC is not only an education center - it is a civic institution. Our work transforms remembrance into responsibility, ensuring that learning about the Holocaust leads to ethical reflection, democratic engagement, and meaningful action.
Vision: A world where remembrance leads to responsibility, empathy overcomes indifference, and every generation chooses dignity over discrimination.
Core Values: Remembrance. Empathy. Courage. Education. Community.
