JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
The Business Intelligence (BI) Architect/Lead is responsible for defining, building and managing BI Hyperion platform to support financial domain applications, BI and analytical capabilities that provide reports to measure financial performance, analyze profitability, and facilitate effective business decision making. This role is responsible to design, implement and support HFM application, Planning, Forecasting & Headcount applications for the internal Finance Organization that will directly impact decision making within Finance and other Business units. He/she will work closely with key internal business stakeholders in defining and translating business requirements to functional and technical requirements and implementation We are looking for someone who is passionate about analytics, thrives in an evolving environment, brings an enthusiastic, collaborative and fun attitude, and delights in making a difference. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our BI platform empower department leadership with the information they need to manage the business and will be responsible for performance metrics as well.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
-Responsible for architecture, design, development and maintenance of Hyperion platform to support Finance and other business department business initiatives.
-Responsible for the design, development, and support of Hyperion platform using Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, HFM, Hyperion Financial Reporting (FR), Web Analysis/Analyzer, Hyperion Interactive Reporting ,Shared Services, ODI, MDX and Excel Add-in  that help end users access, plan and forecast.   
-Work with internal customers to consistently improve and refine process and procedures as it relates to data sourcing, staging, integration and processing within the Hyperion architecture.
-Manage the Hyperion ASO reporting, Essbase Studio, Capex reporting and drill-through initiatives
-Manage the Hyperion BSO processes across the P&L, financials, Capex and Workforce and revenue planning modules
-Design and implement a robust security architecture
-Provide support for and trouble shoot on-going production issues related to the Hyperion system
-Identify and prioritize Hyperion system enhancements and develop design documents based on requirements and specifications as new phases are introduced
-Regular communication with the Data Warehouse, IT, Accounting and Finance teams at all levels.
-Ensures that the Hyperion platform conforms to consistent architecture, methodologies, standards and industry best practices.
-Effectively interact with the business community to gather and develop functional and technical requirements and translate those requirements into robust analytics and reporting solutions
-Provides expert advice in the usage and interpretation of data for different business groups and required technical direction to resolve complex issues to ensure the on-time delivery of solutions that meet business expectations
-Review, analyze, evaluate, and document business systems and user requirements.
-Serves as a subject matter expert and direct advisor to senior leaders in the organization.
-Keeps abreast of technological changes and innovations
-Ensure consistency of usage conventions, compliance with best practices, and data quality and data integrity between systems
-Develop standards, guidelines, and quality assurance processes

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other Math and Science related fields or equivalent.  M.S. Degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred

Experience:
-4-6 years of end-to-end hands-on experience in design and development of Hyperion systems using Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, HFM, Hyperion Financial Reporting Web Analysis/Analyzer, Hyperion Interactive Reporting ,Shared Services, ODI, MDX and Excel Add-in
-Extensive experience in building Web Forms, Smart Lists, Menus and Business Rules using Hyperion Planning
-Experience developing Data Grids and Data Entry Forms using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
-Strong Understanding of dense and sparse settings, aggregate storage cubes (ASO), performed dynamic calculations, developed, reviewed, and optimized report queries in Microsoft Excel, loaded data from various database to cubes
-Experience in Oracle PL/SQL and OLAP
-Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Data stage or equivalent.  Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is preferred.
-Experience with BI and OLAP ;  OBIEE, Business Objects or equivalent .  IBM Cognos  10 is preferred
-Experience in developing test scripts and executing effective test plans and procedures
-Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts and methodologies
