Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Cloud & Network Administrator to join our dynamic team at Embrace® Software for Educators. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and security of our network and cloud infrastructure. Your role will be pivotal in upholding and enhancing our security posture, supporting our production cloud environment, and managing the local network for employees using MacOS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address their needs promptly and implement changes efficiently.

This is a full-time, remote position. Your work hours are a fixed schedule, Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm CST.  This position requires a dedicated workspace, free from interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Support:




• Administer AWS cloud environments


• Manage Linux and Windows servers


• Provide SFTP support and Linux user account management


• Administer firewalls and troubleshoot network issues




• Security Support:




• Assist with access reviews and address remediation items to maintain security




• User Support:




• Provide MacOS and VPN client support


• Offer user application support


• Administer Jamf for MacOS management


• Deliver excellent customer service to our remote workforce




• Other Responsibilities:




• Whitelist IPs in firewalls


• Assist with Linux server administration and Puppet modifications

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud environments, LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and security/network monitoring


• Strong knowledge of Linux OS and Windows OS


• Understanding of network protocols, routing, and VPN technologies


• Proficiency in MacOS administration and user support


• Familiarity with Jamf administration and SFTP support


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams


• Associate's degree in Networking, Computer Information Systems, or a related field preferred


• AWS certification preferred
