Verdant is currently seeking a technical craftsman that understands the journey from a startup to an industry leader, fully embracing Agile and DevOps methodologies.   While our HQ is in Cincinnati (Blue Ash), remote options may be available.

This is a ground floor opportunity to help guide Verdant in expanding into the Salesforce ecosystem.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Candidate will primarily focus on new Salesforce development and integrations but will a part of a development team of existing .NET applications.


• Configure and build out of new org with supporting sandboxes.


• Lead or assist in migration and integration of data and processes from legacy systems to new Salesforce environments.


• Strong working knowledge of consuming and building restful APIs.


• Ensure the organization utilizes the appropriate tool, technique and solution considering cost and capabilities.


• Lead or assist through all stages of application life cycle management, including planning, design, development, and release management.


• Ensure the performance, stability, security, and availability objectives are met through monitoring and optimization.


• Ensure solutions are compliant with corporate and industry standards.


• Provide third-tier support and troubleshooting for internal and external customers and partners.

Education, Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• 
  Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce development


• Experience developing in Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Lightning Design, and/or LWCs, Visualforce.


• Working knowledge of Salesforce release management from sandboxes to production.


• Design and development of the .NET/.NET core technology and architecture of large-scale distributed systems.


• Possesses solid knowledge in emerging technologies, and the ability to apply to the company’s key business goals.


• Seasoned professional with in-depth experience in cloud hosting technologies.


• Knowledge of a range of vendor technology solutions; able to select and integrate the most appropriate technologies to support the business.
