High5 Your Life Program Manager
High5 Your Life (High5) is a career discovery and personal financial planning workshop and tool that helps high school students explore and make informed decisions about their future. The High5 program manager will engage with students and their parents/guardians to help students identify careers that interest them, research the projected income for each career choice, identify and quantify their future expenses, including paying back any training/ education debt. High5 combines helping students find their career interests and researching the financial realities of career decisions including training and education.
In this position, the High5 program manager will:
Coordinate with high school counselors and teachers from Aspen to DeBeque and Meeker to implement the program during the school day and in preparation for our Career Expo
Develop and implement a program plan including advertising, registration, and logistics to implement workshops for teens and their parents/guardians in Spanish and English (2-generation workshops). Evening and weekend availability is required for these workshops
Develop and implement a program plan to enable High5 on a virtual platform statewide
Continue to develop and improve the web-based program in both English and Spanish including incorporating feedback from a student post workshop satisfaction survey
Track and analyze participant data for program evaluation and grant reporting
Develop and work within a program budget
Identity and document improvements to the High5 web-based tool. Manage development projects working with IT developer consultants
As the program grows, identify and hire classroom facilitators
Skills and Life Experience:
4+ years' experience in related field (non-profit administration, volunteer management, social work, education, youth services, psychology)
Passionate about mission of Youthentity and working with youth
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be outgoing, results-oriented, personable and flexible with time and duties as they evolve
Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively as member of multi-disciplinary team, as well as work independently.
Ability to always act as ambassador for Youthentity
Strong computer skills – Microsoft, Google, Canva and experience with using a CRM database (Neon and Kintone),
Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills preferred
Time and Compensation Details:
Part Time with flexible hours, up to 25 hours per week. $30 per hour. This position is based in our Carbondale Colorado office with workshops facilitated in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valleys. This position generally follows the school calendar with some afterschool/evening and weekend requirements. Summer hours are limited and can be flexible. There is some flexibility to work from home.

The focus of this position is developing and implementing a program plan to deliver High5 Your Life to high school students. A passion for working with youth and encouraging their exploration into careers and financial budgeting. The ability to develop and maintain partnerships across schools and community organizations with an emphasis on building rapport and relationships requires an outgoing, poised and persuasive communication style. The ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. A leadership style that is collaborative and goal oriented, that motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way is important. The ability to learn quickly and thoroughly while continually recognizing and adapting to changing conditions is critical. A proactive, can do attitude to achieve program management results which are aligned with the organization and its strategic goals.
