Account Manager

IT Account Manager Job Brief:


We are an IT company with a headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. We have been in business for nearly three decades. We are looking to hire an IT Account Manager to manage our client relationships. The ideal candidate will manage the daily flow of customer's accounts handling both internal and external relationships to provide clients with better service delivery. They will play a vital role in the sales and marketing of the organization for understanding the different technological demands of the client and working with Sr. Project Engineer to develop solutions that will generate revenue for the organization.


 


IT Account Manager Responsibilities:



  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.

  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.

  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.

  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior.

  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.

  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.

  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.

  • Identifying industry trends.

  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.

  • Manage partnership/affiliate and vendor relationships

  • Collaborate with project sponsors, analysts, system experts, and project teams

  • Utilize CRM and for the administration and management of clients projects.

  • Provide oversight of cost savings initiatives and business practices for clients

  • Implement and maintain CRM solution to improve customer service by centralizing all customer/internal data (Keap CRM).

  • Work with project coordinator to plan and implement new projects for current clients

  • Perform IT strategy meetings with Sr. Project Engineer


 


IT Account Manager Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, communications, or related field.

  • More education or experience may be preferred.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.

  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent active listening skills.

  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.

  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.

  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
