Solutions Engineer – Product Services

Location: Austin, TX or US Remote

The Opportunity

Viviota is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to join our Product Services team. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing customer solutions using Viviota engineering analytics software.  The ideal applicant will be able to thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the solutions design, development, and deployment processes. Responsibilities

·       Consistently meet and exceed on-time, high-quality solutions milestones set by the organization’s customer engagements.

·       Understand and assist with solution requirements, design scope, and development milestones for customer engagements.

·       Build consistent, robust solutions leveraging company products and any required third-party components.

·       Actively participate in an agile-type solutions development process.

·       Possess strong problem-solving skills.  Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with team members and customer representatives.

·       Collaborate closely with sales, marketing and design teams to fully understand customer need(s).

·       Follow enterprise software solution technology standards and policies.

·       Work closely with the services team to understand customer requirements for solution deployment and interact with technical leads from the customer and product teams to meet current and potentially future needs based on product road maps.

·       Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.

·       Test, maintain and recommend solution improvements to ensure scalable deployments that are also maintainable.

·       Facilitate root cause analysis of solution issues.  Work with experienced team members to review existing design practices and/or perform integration and user acceptance testing. 

Education

·       Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Computer/Engineering program or equivalent

·       3-5+ years of relevant experience

Required Skills

·       3+ years development experience in a mainstream coding environment

·       Experience with solution development involving common engineering and software tools (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB, DIAdem, Python, C/C++/C#)

·       Excellent problem-solving and analytics skills

·       Experience building deployable, well-structured, maintainable, modular solutions based on existing product software stacks coupled with third-party libraries, utilities and interfaces.

·       Demonstrated ability to work within Agile development methodologies.

·       Solid understanding of the Windows-based platforms, execution, and applications

·       Team-oriented mindset with strong leadership skills and creative out-of-the-box thinking.

·       Exceptional written & communication skills.

Beneficial Experience 

·       Certified LabVIEW developer (CLD) or LabVIEW architect (CLA) or equivalent.

·       Architectural certification or equivalent in a cloud environment.

·       Experience with real-world engineering data solutions.

·       Familiarity with AI/ML model training and toolsets.

·       Experience with sales and engineering teams working in the Automotive, Aerospace, Semiconductor or Medical industries.

·       Experience developing and deploying data analytics solutions.

·       Experience with standard software development infrastructure (e.g., Git, Jira, Jenkins).

·       Experience with solution-level testing methodologies (e.g., integration testing, UAT)

·       Experience deploying and managing cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
