Category Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Category Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business objectives, growth, and development of the Enviroklenz product line focused on indoor air quality solutions in a predefined territory and market. Their duties include comparing current sales numbers to desired quotas, managing budgets, delegating sales and marketing tasks among team members, and promoting Timilon Corporation products and services to potential Customers in their assigned territory.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape in the target customer segments to pursue new business opportunities.

·         Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and market penetration of the product line to align with market trends and customer needs.

·         Set individual sales targets with the sales team and meet planned sales goals & territorial quotas by providing guidance, coaching, and support.

·         Conduct weekly sales meetings to support and enhance product knowledge and selling skills to deliver exceptional customer service.

·         Track sales goals and report results as necessary.

·         Collaborate with the  R & D department to ensure a continuous pipeline of innovative products that meet customer requirements and exceed industry standards.

·         Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns, lead generation, and targeted marketing materials.

·         Build and maintain relationships with key Customers addressing customer inquiries, concerns promptly and professionally.

·         Monitor market dynamics, including the competitive landscape and regulatory requirements to inform product development and positioning strategies.

·         Participate in professional development and/or networking conferences and events.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         10+ years of sales management & business development experience with a proven track record of success in the IAQ industry.

·         Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

·         Familiarity with the IAQ industry with a strong commitment to improving indoor air quality.

·         Ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and create effective sales and marketing strategies.

·         Experience in owning and meeting defined sales goals and objectives.

·         Excellent communication skills to engage with Customers, stakeholders, and Associates.

·         Dedication to providing great Customer service always.

 

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, chemistry, or related sciences.

·         Master’s degree, preferred.

·         Experience with CRM, emphasis on NetSuite or Zoho a plus.

·         Experience in developing and executing training programs.

Travel Requirements:

30-40% of time spent traveling
