Verdant Commercial Capital is looking for a talented and competitive Associate Relationship Manager that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. We offer straight forward loans and leases and work hard to build repeat vendors and customers. Join an exciting sales environment with room for growth in a thriving company with strong balance sheet and syndication capabilities and cutting edge sales and support tools. As an Associate Relationship Manager, you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and volume growth objectives. This position will support all areas of the sales team and will gain knowledge in various aspects of vendor financing across the manufacturing industry and is a stepping stone to a full sales position.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Understanding customer needs and requirements through conversations, data mining, and industry publications.

  • Researching accounts and identifying key players to assist sales team with warm leads. As experience continues to grow, Associate Relationship Manager will begin following on smaller leads to begin to build a book of business.

  • Submitting complete and thorough credit applications that will ensure quick turnaround time.

  • Sending out document packages and welcoming customers to Verdant through over communication and service.

  • Following up with missing application materials, credit questions, to make for a better flow deal process.

  • Providing quotes and tracking of quotes which allows customers to make quick buying decisions and allows the sales team and management to track activity and identify areas to focus sales efforts on.

  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure. Participate in sales calls and relationship building to begin to take on smaller lead generation activities.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed

  • Proven inside sales experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong listening and presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred but not required

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience working with or similar CRM

  • Experience working with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Customer focused
