Overview and Qualifications

The Office Associate is a team-level, part-time position, under the administrative direction of the 6 Stones Mission Network Business Director. This position requires duties performed in an accountable nature, requiring initiative and discretion. The Office Associate should have knowledge of assigned subject area, proficiency in major aspects of assigned projects, coordination of activities with an emphasis on effective development and delivery of project work. Qualified applicants will be able to:

  • Manage daily office duties including the phone system, checking/routing mail and emails;

  • Manage the weekly donations including updating Bloomerang, scanning checks, printing thank you letters and preparing reports;

  • Recruit, train and lead a team of volunteers to help at the front desks with answering phones, greeting walk-ins and coordinating tasks with other staff;

  • Process invoices and reconciling monthly statements from vendors, schedule, prepare and mail checks to vendors;

  • Champion internal staff communication/morale, room/vehicle resource calendaring, meeting scheduling when appropriate and staff anniversaries and birthdays;

  • Help manage incoming requests (volunteer needs, facility, etc) and ensure the appropriate staff person follows up in a timely manner;

  • Help coordinate staff/board meetings, conferences and retreats;

  • Assist the Business Director and/or Executive Director in other areas as assigned;

Be available to work 20-25 hours per week between Monday-Friday / 9am-5pm.  Some weekend work will be required with advanced notice. Bilingual speakers are encouraged to apply.
