BI Intern

Summary

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Intern to support the
continued growth of NavigatorCRE as the #1 data visualization software for
commercial real estate.

 

NavigatorCRE is a cloud-based platform that drives full
cycle efficiencies for all those involved in Commercial Real Estate. We build
value through technology by cohesively integrating, aligning, and animating
data from multiple sources. NavigatorCRE has created an application that will
soon become industry standard in the Commercial Real Estate world, and we are
eager to expand our team!

 

Currently, we are in search of a BI Intern to create and manage BI and analytics
solutions that turn data into knowledge for our clients.
This is a
fantastic opportunity to work with industry leaders on a variety of technical
projects with an emphasis on software craftsmanship and continued learning. This would be to start as soon as possible.

 

Responsibilities

· 
Think
strategically about the uses of data and how data use interacts with data
design

· 
Navigate
various data sources, craft and execute database queries

· 
Develop
data models, create fact and dimension tables

· 
Build
Power BI reports

· 
Evaluate
and improve existing BI systems

 

Requirements

· 
Some course experience with Power
BI, DAX, SQL

· 
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
required, with proficiency in cloud spreadsheet systems like Office365, Google
Sheets, Fusion Tables, Smartsheet and Access.

· 
Knowledge of statistics and
experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.

· 
Ability to work well in a team
setting

· 
Technical expertise regarding data
models, database design development, data scraping and segmentation techniques

· 
Proficiency in combining multiple
sources, data manipulation & reporting in Microsoft Excel

· 
Strong analytical skills with the
ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of
information with attention to detail and accuracy

· 
Majoring in Real Estate,
Mathematics, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or
Statistics

· 
Ability to manage workload and
self-prioritize effectively

· 
Ability to work independently or in
collaborative environment

· 
Can clearly communicate cross-functionally
among both technical and non-technical roles

 

 

Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship a must.

Job Type: Part-time with flexible work schedule

Salary: $15/hr OR Unpaid College Internship Credits
