Job Summary


  • Manages the day-to-day responsibilities associated with accommodating guests' arrivals, departures and requirements in the bathing areas and locker rooms of the spa.



General Accountabilities



  • Greets and directs guests to bathing areas/lockers.


  • Schedules, cancels and confirms reservations for services.


  • Makes self available for any guest need while in the locker/Bathing areas. (towels, uniforms, slippers, services, etc)


  • Upholds and enforces Island Spa rules & regulations within the bathing area, ensuring the safety of all the customers without direct surveillance.


  • Transmits and/or receives messages.


  • Tests and chemically balances the tubs every two hours to comply with health code


  • Double checks tub temperatures every two hours


  • Keeps records of occupied and vacant therapist rooms and guests' accounts.


  • Answers inquiries pertaining to spa services and accommodations of spa.


  • Handles guest complaints or concerns, seeks help from Floor Manager if needed.


  • Responds to inquiries and requests for information requiring knowledge of departmental and company policies and procedures and services


  • Driving sales of products and services offered  


  • Keeps all work areas up to Island Spa Standards of cleanliness and hygiene.


  • Able to work flexible schedule, varied shifts and days, including holidays and weekends.


  • Highly suggested to try spa services to better serve customers


  • Handles reservation turning for body scrub employees





Job Qualifications



  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.


  • Minimum Experience: Some previous work-related experience in customer service.



Skills



  • Must Speak Korean or Chinese and English


  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills


  • Must possess excellent customer service skills


  • Must possess the ability to make decisions and problem solve



Skills: Machine



  • Ability to use computers


  • Ability to troubleshoot Spa equipment(showers, tubs, pools etc.)


  • Ability to operate spa software


  • Audio/visual aid (television, radio, ipod, etc. when applicable)
