The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machinery, including routing, painting, and finishing, as well as expertise in mixing paints and stains to achieve customer-specific color and finish requirements. This position requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • CNC Routing Machine Operation: Operate and maintain CNC door routing machines to cut, shape, and finish doors and frames to precise specifications. Ensure machines are properly calibrated and functioning.

  • CNC Robotic Paint Machine Operation: Program and operate CNC robotic paint machines for automated painting applications. Ensure that the system applies paint or stains evenly and efficiently according to specifications.

  • Paint & Stain Mixing: Mix custom paints and stains to meet customer color specifications. Prepare and adjust formulas to achieve the desired finish, ensuring consistency and high-quality results.

  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality, checking for defects or imperfections in the routing, paint, and overall finish. Ensure that all products meet the required standards before they are sent out for delivery or further assembly.

  • Material Preparation: Prepare raw materials (e.g., doors, frames) for routing and painting processes. This may include cleaning, sanding, and pre-finishing to ensure a smooth application.

  • Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, UV paint lines, and robotic paint machines to ensure continued safe operation and avoid downtime.

  • Efficiency & Productivity: Work efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines. Prioritize tasks to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with company safety policies.

  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of production runs, paint mixtures, and machine settings. Report any issues or quality concerns to supervisors immediately.

Required Qualifications

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve machine or production issues.

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure precision in both the routing and painting processes.

  • Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safety practices, including the use of PPE and adherence to workplace safety regulations.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move materials, operate machinery for long periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.

  • Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with production teams and supervisors
