We’re looking for a business development professional with CRE finance experience.  We’re expanding our client facing advisory team to the West Coast, Midwest, Southwest, Northeast, and Southeast.  We’re searching for people to lead our sales efforts across debt and equity solutions, portfolio optimization software, debt hedging and defeasance services.   

The Director Role   

This role would offer you a unique opportunity to help us build out a capital markets platform and deliver the Lobby CRE analytic tool to small and mid-market CRE owners, operators, and investors nationwide. 

You would identify prospects for Lobby CRE, industry leading debt and equity optimization tool, a centralized solution to manage and optimize assets, debt, valuations, and equity. Lobby CRE streamlines operations, provides increased visibility into past and present performance, and outlines actionable next steps to inform future performance, investor returns, and GP promote. 

You would also work with prospects to identify their debt and equity requirements, engage with our Thirty Capital Financial team to optimize the clients’ portfolio and execute their needs by brokering such debt and equity opportunities. 

As an integral part of the overall growth strategy at Thirty Capital, you will often be the first point of contact for clients that are interested in any of the products and services within our portfolio. You will engage potential customers in a timely manner with the goal of turning leads into opportunities. 

You will be supported by a dynamic marketing team to drive engagement within the CRE finance community nationwide.  We have a deep bench of analysts and client relationship managers to support your new business development efforts.  Thirty Capital leadership is dedicated to making sure you are in the best position to exceed expectations by providing you with state-of the art tools for success. 

Key Responsibilities   

  • Business Development - Identify and target prospects to build and maintain a robust pipeline.   

  • Consultative Selling - Develop a strong understanding of the clients' commercial real estate financial requirements to deliver a value proposition across client teams from the C-suite to Acquisitions and Asset Management. 

  • Relationship Management - Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders by engaging as a trusted advisor, providing insights and solutions to address clients' challenges.   

  • Sales Performance - Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and prepare forecasts to management.   

  • Stay current with CRE capital markets, industry trends and competitors to maintain our leading edge.   

  • Team Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including relationship managers, marketing and analysts to drive sales success.

Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or real estate  

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate finance 

  • Minimum of 5 years in a client facing business development role.  

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.   

  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate and finance.   

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.   

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and sales tracking tools.
