Job Summary| 

This positionwill provide leadershipto our team of trainers,deliver both in person and web-based professional learning sessions,provide project management for our training processes,develop andlead networking opportunitiesfor our client trainers,and supportthe development of ongoing professional learning opportunities both through live delivery and digital course development.     


The Ideal Candidate | 

Understands social and emotional learning and the rationale for measuring it.Isan effectiveadult learningfacilitatorand course developer.Cancreateand lead both in person and web-based professional learning sessionsand is friendly and approachable.  Enjoysa role that requiresinteractionwith a variety of roles such as Curriculum Department Heads, School Administrators, Counselors, Classroom Teachers.Isnaturally efficient and able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining high standards for accuracy and follow through.  Able tomaintain a home office, be self-directed in your daily workflow, and collaboratively work with a virtual team.   

Supervisory Responsibilities |

·        Train new staff members 

·        Oversees daily workflow of up to 3 professional learning trainers 

·        Provides constructive and timely performance feedback and evaluations  

·        Handles discipline in accordance with company policy 


·        Coordinate and manage the scheduling process for all professional learning sessions for the PL&S team   

·        Conduct both onsite and virtual professional learning sessions for new and returning clients (global and custom)  

·        Provide SEL and DESSA implementation consultation and follow up to custom clients  

·        Provide continuous quality improvement of professional learning sessions  

·        Develop new professional learning sessions including virtual courses  

·        Create and lead networking opportunities for internal and external trainers/professional learning specialists  

·        Participate in team meetings, cross-department meetings, and meetings with clients or outside organizations with whom Aperture has ongoing collaborative projects  

·        Communicate technical information in a relatable way to diverse training groups   

·        Performs other duties as assigned  


Required Abilities| 

·        Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time  

·        Passion for SEL and a curiosity and willingness to learn  

·        Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Education & Experience | 

·        Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, education, or related field   

·        Minimum of five years’ experience in social emotional learning and delivery of professional learning in educational settings   

·        Experience building and/or delivering courses via an LMS System   

·        Experience using technology to deliver professional learning sessions (Zoom, Microsoft Suite, etc.)   


Work Environment | 

·        Work is regularly performed in a professional home office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.   

·        Travel % (up to 30)  

Location | 

·        Charlotte Metro Area or remote is an option
