Summary

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings a general knowledge of GAAP knowledge, a knack for process improvement, and the ability to collaborate across Finance, Operations, and Customer teams to keep our books accurate and on time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Your essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain accounting information in a timely and accurate fashion in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices and compliance with government regulations.
  • Accounts Receivable including processing customer invoices, applying customer payment, and monitoring ageing reports.
  • Customer communications to follow up on unpaid invoices and resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly onboarding spreadsheets for new customers and add-on features.
  • Update customer agreements based on accepted quotes and prepare special invoices as needed.
  • Prepare required monthly sales tax reporting.
  • Reconcile company credit card and expense reports.
  • Bank Reconciliations.
  • Assist with posting journal entries and reconciling key accounts.
  • Support month-end close activities.
  • Answer incoming operator and admin telephone calls.

 

 

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of Associate degree in Accounting
  • 1 – 3 years of progressive accounting experience
  • General knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP and the full accounting cycle
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
