Key Responsibilities
· Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering
o Collaborate with our clients (third party review firms, buyers and sellers in the secondary market) and internal stakeholders to capture detailed business and functional requirements.
o Translate client requirements for process flow and operational needs into system logic and configuration.
· System Configuration & Rule Building
o Configure platform components including business rules, page layouts, workflows, and reports.
o Ensure that the configuration changes to not negatively impact other system functionality
· Documentation & Testing
o Document configuration decisions, business rules, and client-specific logic clearly and consistently.
o Conduct unit testing of configurations and assist in user acceptance testing with clients.
· Process Optimization
o Recommend process improvements based on client feedback and industry best practices.
o Collaborate with product and engineering teams to suggest platform enhancements.

Required Qualifications
· 3–7 years of experience in a configuration-focused business analyst, implementation specialist, or systems analyst role.
· Strong domain expertise in the mortgage industry
o Loan origination
o third party due diligence,
o secondary marketing / mortgage trading or correspondent operations
o servicing boarding
o document recognition and data extraction
· Proven experience configuring software platforms involving complex rules and workflows (e.g., low-code platforms, workflow systems, mortgage tech like Encompass, Empower, etc.)
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Ability to work with Java 8 and SQL, rules engines, or similar tools is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.
