Wolfe Research is seeking an experienced, market-savvy professional who will drive relationships between our quantitative research team and institutional clients. The ideal candidate brings proven success in data or tech sales, deep analytical capabilities, and superior relationship management skills, positioning them to expand our market presence in our fast-paced, data-driven environment.  This role will be reporting directly to the Quantitative Sales Specialist.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client relationships and drive revenue growth through strategic account planning and execution
  • Analyze CRM data to identify trends, optimize resource utilization, and develop strategies for revenue expansion
  • Proactively identify and capture new business opportunities through deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics
  • Own client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal quantitative researchers
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance team performance and market penetration
  • Lead and organize high-impact client and industry events
  • Build and maintain key data vendor relationships while identifying new partnership opportunities
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in data sales, tech sales, or related financial services roles
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing client relationships
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/University with a strong academic track record
  • Advanced quantitative skills with expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of data structures and demonstrated experience working with financial quantitative data
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Deep knowledge of financial markets, particularly equity markets and the institutional equities marketplace
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing client relationships independently
  • History of successful collaboration with research and technical teams

 

At Wolfe Research we feel passionately about equal pay for equal work and pay transparency is an integral practice for that. The compensation for this role is market competitive with a base salary range of $100,000-$120,000. We intend to offer the selected candidate a base salary within this range, based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill set, job-related experience, and location. In addition, we offer an annual discretionary incentive bonus and competitive employee benefits including: medical, dental and vision coverage; life, accident and disability insurance. Wolfe also offers paid time off packages that include vacation, sick days/leave, paid holidays and paid parental leave.
