Position Overview
Prestige Medical Group is seeking a hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead and strengthen HR operations across a rapidly growing, multi-location healthcare organization.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR leader who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and partnering closely with operations leadership while remaining actively involved in day-to-day HR execution.
The Director of HR will oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR process development. This leader will help ensure consistent HR practices across multiple clinic locations while supporting a positive and compliant workplace culture.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and operational capable of developing HR systems and policies while also rolling up their sleeves to support recruiting, onboarding, and employee support when needed.
This role partners closely with Operations Leadership, Finance, and Site Supervisors and serves as the central HR leader supporting over 100+ employees across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Strategy
• Lead and strengthen HR operations across a growing multi-site medical group
• Develop and standardize HR policies, processes, and employee programs
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and employee relations
• Help build scalable HR infrastructure to support continued growth
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
• Oversee recruiting strategy for clinical, administrative, and operational roles
• Manage job postings, recruiting pipelines, and interview processes
• Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and hiring priorities
• Improve hiring processes, onboarding programs, and workforce planning
Employee Lifecycle Management
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
• Maintain job descriptions, HR documentation, and organizational structures
• Support employee development, performance reviews, and role changes
• Ensure a consistent and positive employee experience across all locations
HR Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare employment regulations
• Maintain HR records, licenses, certifications, and required training documentation
• Support HR audits and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Partner with leadership on employee relations matters and workplace policies
Benefits & HR Operations
• Oversee benefits administration and open enrollment coordination
• Manage PTO tracking, employee records, and HR system data accuracy
• Partner with Finance on payroll-related HR processes
• Manage and optimize HRIS / PEO systems
Culture, Engagement & Retention
• Support employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture programs
• Develop strategies to improve retention and employee satisfaction
• Lead employee recognition initiatives and feedback programs
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends
Qualifications
• 5–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR leadership responsibilities
• Experience in healthcare, multi-site organizations, or high-growth environments strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to build HR processes while remaining operationally hands-on
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and employee lifecycle management
• Experience working within an HRIS or PEO environment preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
Preferred Certifications
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR
Work Environment
This role is primarily onsite and supports multiple clinic locations including:
• Jasper
• Canton
• Woodstock
• Rome
• Roswell
Some local travel between locations may be required.
