Job description:

A Referral & Clinical Support Coordinator is needed at a rapidly growing medical practice that currently has five (5) offices: Four (4) Internal Medicine Offices with Med Spas, between Jasper, Canton, Roswell, and Rome. Then we also have Pediatrics in Jasper and Canton. Between these locations we currently have 28 Medical Providers (a combination of MDs, NPs, & PAs). Our practice has been rapidly growing over the past 21 years and has plans in place for additional providers to join us in 2026 along with additional locations to open in 2026 to further our growth! This position will eventually be stationed in our New Woodstock Office that is scheduled to open March 2026. The ideal candidate must be willing to commute to our Jasper Main or Canton offices for their initial training and until the Woodstock office is open.  This potential candidate would be cross trained for Call Center Operator, which provides the opportunity to grow within the company.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of Call Center or Front Office experience in a clinical setting is required
  • Well versed in Rx and Medical PA’s is preferred
  • Pharmacy Tech Experience is preferred
  • Excellent Computer Skills Required
  • Epic EHR Experience Preferred
  • Must be willing to train at our Jasper and or Canton locations, but flexibility to work at other locations is a desired qualification.
  • Public Notary Preferred
  • Must be Punctual & Dependable
  • Must be able to multi-task, & work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a Team Player & Possess Strong Communication/Leadership Skills
  • Must possess excellent Customer Service Skills

 

Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Referral Coordination; Insurance & Specialty Referrals (Follow Full-Cycle)
  • Imaging Coordination; Order Confirmation & Scheduling Assistance for Patients as needed
  • Medical & Rx Prior-Authorizations; Process and Track PA’s
  • PA Liaison; Intermediary between Provider, Patient, & Pharmacy regarding PA status and requirements
  • Maintain documentation accuracy in EMR to properly track processes

 

With being cross-trained for Call Center Operator:

  • Answer high in-coming phone call volumes
  • Process / route those inner-office communications accordingly
  • Appointment Scheduling
  • Processing/Routing Incoming Faxes
  • Processing / Returning Online Appointment Requests (Treatspace)
  • Assist with outgoing calls; returning voicemails and or assisting with appointment reschedules.
