Job description:

Certified or Registered Medical Assistants needed at a rapidly growing medical practice that currently has five (5) offices:  Four (4) Internal Medicine Offices with Med Spas, between Jasper, Canton, Roswell, and Rome and Two (2) Pediatric Offices between Jasper and Canton. We plan to open our newest location in Woodstock in March 2026!  Between these locations we currently have 26 Medical Providers (a combination of MDs, NPs, & PAs). Our practice has been rapidly growing over the past 22 years and has plans in place for additional providers to join us in February 2026 along with additional locations to open in the future to further our growth! The ideal candidates must be willing to work at our Jasper Headquarters and Woodstock locations.  The willingness to work at any additional offices is greatly desired (Canton,Roswell, & Rome).

 

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

  • Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA)
  • A minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant  experience in a clinical setting
  • Must be willing to work at our Jasper and Woodstock locations, but the flexibility to work at other locations is a desired qualification.
  • Excellent Computer Skills Required
  • Must be Punctual & Dependable
  • Must be able to multi-task, & work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a Team Player & Possess Strong Communication/Leadership Skills
  • Must possess excellent Customer Service Skills
  • EMR/EHR Experience Required (Epic EHR Experience Preferred)

 

Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Vital Signs
  • Urinalysis
  • Drug Screens
  • Prepare & Administer vaccinations & IM / Subcutaneous Injections
  • Performing EKGs / Spirometry / Nebulizer Treatments
  • Body Analysis
  • POCT (Point Of Care Testing); Influenza, COVID-19, Strep
  • Phlebotomy
  • A1Cs
  • PT/INR
  • Strep Screens and Throat Cultures
  • Ear Irrigations
  • Nebulizer Treatments
  • Hearing/Vision Testing
  • Exam/Treatment Room Preparation
  • Assisting provider with examinations & routine procedures (Physicals, Pap Smears, etc)
  • Minor Surgical Procedures with Instrument/Equipment Sterilization (Biote HRP, IV, etc)
