The Payment Operation Lead is responsible for oversight of global Investigator payments for assigned studies. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, performing work to meet client commitments and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess experience within the biopharmaceutical industry and knowledge of budgets, contracts, investigator site payments and related activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

· 4+ years of experience in clinical trials or related setting required

· Strong project management and leadership skills required

· Requires problem-solving and time management skills

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and communicate professionally with clients

· Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, SharePoint and Outlook

· Must have excellent organizational skills

· Must be able to learn quickly, be comfortable with new technology systems and adapt to system changes

· Capable of working independently and being proactive in a team

· Demonstrates proficiency in performing under pressure and meeting deadlines efficiently

· Ability to proof-read and detect errors in math, and grammar

· A proficient understanding of basic accounting and budgeting is recommended

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervising and managing daily operations and workloads, including but not limited to reviewing site payments, conducting client meetings, and overseeing study funds management

· Interacts and collaborates with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance experience, address queries, and resolve issues

· Oversee and manage all aspects of payments relating to clinical trials to ensure timely and accurate payment processes in accordance with agreements, IRB, and/or ethics committee requirements

· Review and manage funding requests for clinical trials

· Perform primary QC of visit and invoiceable payment data

· Perform quarterly reconciliation review of payment data during the life of the clinical trial and during closeout

· Manage project escalations to identify the root cause of issues and resolve to clients’ satisfaction
