Project Partners has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Director. The position description, responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Regional Sales Director to become part of Project Partners growing practice. Our offerings have been developed for project-centric industries to deliver implementation services, technical integration services, complementary software products, managed services, and offshore services for the Oracle ERP (EBS and Cloud ERP/PPM) and Primavera customer base. The successful candidate must be a proven consultative sales representative willing to take proactive responsibility for:
-- Developing, retaining, and expanding our Account portfolio in project-centric industries
-- Building multi-tiered relationships at executive and staff levels
-- Conducting an effective consultative sales process
-- Collaborating with service delivery teams, product development and executive management to develop sales strategy
-- Coordinating needs assessment and solution design elements throughout the sales cycle and contracting process
-- Managing the development of proposals and presentations to prospects and taking responsibility for results
-- Ensuring outstanding customer relationships are built and maintained
-- Leveraging a personal network which includes contacts and relationships in project-centric organizations, Oracle’s EBS, Cloud ERP, and Primavera sales teams, industry advisors and trade groups associated with project-centric industries.
-- Assisting consulting staff in growing their personal business development acumen
-- Collaborating with other business development professionals within Project Partners to learn from one another and share sales and marketing collateral
The successful candidate will have experience selling complex opportunities involving products and services while having experience assembling and leading pre-sales support teams with a proven track record in closing strategic sales pursuits. The role mandates a results-oriented, detail-oriented, hard-working, enthusiastic, collaborative, and proactive individual who has successfully held similar sales positions with demonstrable revenue generation and business development outcomes.
This position will report to the President with a dotted line to the VP of Marketing / Business Develpment and be responsible for the lifecycle of sales activities in the assigned region including lead generation, needs assessment, solution development, RFP evaluation, proposal development, presentations, participation in contract negotiation and contract coordination.
More specific sales responsibilities include:
-- Develops, retains and expands business relationships with targeted project-centric organizations.
-- Develops and executes sales strategies with the goal of penetrating key accounts and closing significant deals with the largest, most important prospects in the targeted area.
-- Develops Strategic Account plans to increase the perceived value proposition to be delivered, coordinates sales support teams and sales activities.
-- Ability to build and assemble strategic partnerships with other service providers to deliver complete solutions.
-- Networks within the industry
-- Assists with the refinement of the sales strategy and business plans
-- Manages the development of proposals and presentations to prospects and takes responsibility for results
-- Contributes to Sales and Marketing business development strategies, events and activities
-- Identify current and impending customer business needs from market data and select service offering capabilities -- required to address identified needs with the widest possible scope.
-- Develops specific client solution packages involving product and service offerings that address the current or impending business needs whereby solutions are leveraged for future business opportunities.
-- Attains goals related to sales quotas, selling of Project Partners product and service offerings, and client satisfaction for assigned accounts/region.

Applicants should have 7 or more years of selling products and consulting services, with 5 or more years specific to selling in the packaged applications software space. Applicants must be familiar with the procurement processes and have a proven track record of selling strategic opportunities within complex matrix environments. Previous experience in selling both products and consulting services in Primavera, E-Business, Oracle Cloud ERP and other Oracle Applications and technology environments is highly preferred but not required.
