Field & Stream is seeking a Social Media Coordinator (FTE) to support the daily execution, organization, and performance tracking of the brand’s social media publishing across platforms.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of Field & Stream’s social publishing. This role ensures content is published accurately, consistently, and on schedule across platforms, while supporting performance tracking, reporting, and campaign organization.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who loves the outdoors, understands social platforms instinctively, and is eager to learn how a major media brand operates at scale.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Program and publish posts across Field & Stream’s social media channels
- Maintain daily and weekly social publishing calendars
- Tag, organize, and track content for campaigns and partners using Sprinklr and Airtable
- Ensure accuracy across captions, links, credits, and hashtags
- Coordinate with editors, producers, and brand partners to gather assets and information
- Monitor comments and community engagement, flagging trends or issues as needed
- Track post-level performance and assist with compiling basic performance reports
- Support launches, seasonal moments, and tentpole editorial events
This role is critical to keeping Field & Stream’s social distribution clean, consistent, and measurable.

- Comfort working within established systems, tools, and processes
- Curiosity about performance data and why certain content resonates with audiences
- Reliability and ability to execute daily responsibilities independently
- Awareness of trending formats, sounds, and behaviors on Instagram and TikTok
- Comfortable engaging with audiences in comment sections on behalf of a legacy brand
- Enthusiasm for engaging large, passionate audiences at scale
- Critical thinker who loves solving complex problems outside of their comfort zone
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others and lead cross-functional project teams
Required
- 1+ years of experience in social media, digital media, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace
- Familiarity with major social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok
- Experience using or willingness to learn social publishing and organization tools
Preferred
- Experience using tools such as Sprinklr, Airtable, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic video editing experience using Adobe Premiere
- Prior experience supporting a media brand, publisher, or content-driven organization
