We Are Hiring: IT Systems Engineer
We’re seeking an experienced IT professional to join our growing team. This is a client-facing role for someone who thrives in a dynamic MSP environment and is looking to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Assess and improve the performance and efficiency of client systems
- Design and conduct server/security audits, system backups, and recovery plans
- Integrate various servers (email, database, print, etc.) into client infrastructures
- Create and maintain up-to-date system documentation and service records
- Ensure in-house systems and client systems are compatible and optimized
- Conduct thorough system testing and facilitate end-user reviews
- Monitor performance and provide regular reporting and analytics
- Train end users on new and modified systems
- Research new technologies and make recommendations based on ROI and business needs
- Perform on-site client visits to install, maintain, and support IT systems and networks
- Review and approve work completed by Help Desk Analysts
- Serve as an escalation point for complex issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting IT systems in an MSP environment
- Strong understanding of systems planning, deployment, and software management best practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, remote monitoring tools, and ticketing systems
- Excellent communication skills – both technical and user-friendly
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to client needs
- Strong client service orientation and the ability to build trust with end users
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
