Clearview AI is searching for a Director of Public Sector Marketing to design and drive high-impact pipeline
generation programs leading to closed-won bookings. The Director, Public Sector Marketing will lead a
growing team aligned to sales, utilizing data and historical performance to inform quarterly plans and
strategies. This key hands-on leader will be responsible for coordinating and managing a comprehensive
marketing approach, including Field and Account-Based Marketing, thought leadership, web, content, social
media, and more.

This role demands hands-on leadership in overseeing in-house marketing projects, requiring expertise in
the implementation of digital ad campaigns, encompassing SEO, Google Adwords, and performance-
based ads. The ideal candidate excels in analyzing market trends, orchestrating events such as webinars
and trade shows, and demonstrates advanced proficiency in HubSpot. Budget management skills are
essential. Additionally, the role necessitates strong direction-giving and copy editing abilities to refine
marketing communications and messaging effectively.

Location: Washington, DC / Remote

Responsibilities:
● Team leadership: proven experience as a manager, building team performance and culture in a
high-growth environment
● Planning and execution: demonstrable skill working with teams to build and execute quarterly and
yearly plans aligned with company’s overall goals and strategy, including budget management,
and projection of results; project and plan for department staffing needs
● Performance monitoring and management: proven track record using analytics to monitor and
optimize program performance, including investment rationalization, based on past performance
and results
● Sales alignment and partnership: experience working in partnership with sales and customer
success teams enabling reps with account engagement programs leading to opportunity
discovery and pipeline generation.
● Opportunity and Market Development: responsible for coordinating with business development for
market presence and customer engagement, analyzing market trends to identify growth
opportunities and challenges
● Lead the selection of suitable events by analyzing historical ROI and event background. Provide
direction on necessary materials for an impactful event
● Lead digital marketing initiatives from conception to full implementation, including SEO, SEM, and
other digital channels, to enhance lead generation and brand recognition.
● Maintain brand voice and pillars to standards, ensure messaging aligns, and assist in crafting
marketing content and concepts

Physical Demands:
● Ability to remain in a stationary position and use a computer for extended periods.
● Ability to travel as needed to attend conferences and other events

Requirements:
● Extensive experience in a senior marketing role (Head of Marketing, Marketing VP/Director, etc.).
● Direct experience in Federal, State and Local and International Public Sector (law enforcement,
military, defense) market segments, including field programs, Federal Law Enforcement events,
paid and earned media, web-site strategy, campaign planning and management, and event marketing
● Public Sector experience with global scope (e.g. applying US based programs and best-practices
to other countries, as well as collaborating with geo diverse teams, campaigns and product
marketing on a global strategy and approach)
● Successful track record in designing, building and executing field-focused marketing programs
across digital, first and third party events, and partner ecosystem including resellers and technology
partners

Expertise in SEO, SEM, web analytics, Google Adwords, and performance based ads
● Proficiency in CRM tools and digital marketing platforms, specifically Hubspot
● Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
● Strategic thinker with decision-making capabilities
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
● Willingness to travel within the United States
● Highly ethical, honest and responsible

The expected annualized salary compensation for this position is between $90,000 - $160,000 with participation in our stock equity plan, and an annual at-target incentive bonus opportunity of at least 10% of salary at 100% achievement (actual achievement % will vary). This estimated salary represents the typical starting rate of candidates hired in a similar role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include relevant experience, skills, and your remote work location.
