Position: Finance & Operations Analyst

Location: Remote 

Role Type: Full Time

 

The Finance & Operations Analyst will assist with all operational and finance-related company functions, and help analyze and execute processes which mature the company. The Finance & Operations Analyst will work closely with the CEO and People Operations department, while also assisting the management team on a selection of tasks. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Track division budgets and spend

  • Revenue recognition and accounting procedures

  • Perform accounts payable functions and expense tracking

  • Tracking deals from when booked until paid and perform all accounts receivable functions

  • Market research and analysis

  • Help draft materials for internal and external company presentations

  • Help perform company audit protocols

  • Work with divisions to set and track division goals

  • Work with other divisions on cross-over tasks

  • Manage federal and state filings with a tax accountant

  • Close the monthly books with a 3rd party consultant

  • Additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the employee’s supervisor or CEO

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

Requirements:

  • Advanced grasp of Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to offer insightful analysis

  • Eagerness to learn and pick up new skills

  • Strong Analytical Skills 

  • Background in economics or finance preferred

  • Accounting experience preferred

Preferred Skills & Experience 

  • Accounting and financial modeling experience

  • Experience with bookkeeping, projections, or any related projects

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, or related field

The expected annualized salary compensation for this position is between $85,000 - $110,000 with participation in our stock equity plan, and an annual at-target incentive bonus opportunity of at least 10% of salary at 100% achievement (actual achievement % will vary). This estimated salary represents the typical starting rate of candidates hired in a similar role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary includes relevant experience, skills, and your remote work location.
