Position: IT Engineer 

Location: Remote

 

Position Summary: IT Engineers assist Clearview AI employees and contractors with day to day technology issues. Their primary responsibility is the proper functioning of all IT services that support the daily operations of the business. This includes incident handling, request management, onboarding/offboarding, demo support, event AV support, software deployments, procurement, and security monitoring during business hours. IT Engineers also work with the rest of the Security & IT department to suggest and implement projects and to update and implement the CVAI Security Program. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, respond and remediate user reported incidents and requests

  • Assist and process help desk tickets within established SLAs

  • Perform technical onboarding for new hires and offboarding for terminations

  • Collaborate with the Security & IT Department on task prioritization, project planning, systems maintenance, and security processes and procedures

  • Complete assigned project and task work in a professional and timely manner

  • Ensure proper documentation is created and maintained for all internal processes and procedures, and for user-facing projects and deployments

  • Assist with research into IT industry trends, new technologies, and news items relevant to CVAI systems and services 

  • Additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the VP of Security & IT or CEO

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within United States when requested

  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of excellence without direct supervision

  • A high level of detail orientation to support a remote collaborative IT team

  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple assigned tasks with minimal guidance

  • Ability and willingness to securely access and manage administrative rights and confidential data in compliance with legal and organizational protocols

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience (industry certifications highly preferred)

  • 3+ years of years of experience in a helpdesk, system administration, or desktop support role, or 2+ years of experience along with cybersecurity experience and/or certifications

  • Strong familiarity with Apple technologies, including macOS and iOS

  • Basic scripting experience recommended

The expected annualized salary compensation for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 with participation in our stock equity plan, and an annual at-target incentive bonus opportunity of at least 10% of salary at 100% achievement (actual achievement % will vary). This estimated salary represents the typical starting rate of candidates hired in a similar role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include relevant experience, skills, and your remote work location.
