Our Story and Our Purpose

We are building a specialized financial institution addressing the growing demand for digital asset services. Our primary business will focus on digital asset custody, providing secure, efficient custodial and fiduciary services for a variety of digital assets. We have applied for a national bank charter and will receive conditional approval in the near future.

You will work with foundational systems and processes to help shape our operating model and influence how a new category of financial infrastructure comes to market. We are looking for builders who handle complexity with confidence and tackle ambitious opportunities while keeping pace with this rapidly evolving industry.  Let’s Build This Together.

Our Principles

Greatness is a mindset, not an accomplishment. Mediocrity is unacceptable. Excellence is contagious. We hire people because we believe in their greatness. Now is the time to prove us right.

Responsibility comes with the territory. Everyone is an owner, which means we share a common vision and mutual accountability. We act in line with our strategic objectives and the trust our customers place in us. We believe there is no such thing as "not my problem." Taking this level of ownership not only drives our collective success but also offers the potential for significant reward.

Innovation and adaptation are in our DNA. We are in a period of the most dramatic and rapid period of technological change in the history of humankind. Those that stay ahead will thrive, those that don't, won't. We innovate intelligently and thrive on overcoming challenges, to get (at least) a little better every day and ensure our continued growth and success.

Team first. We are reliable teammates working together toward extraordinary success through honesty and accountability. We believe collaboration knows no hierarchy, and we focus on what matters.  We work toward consensus, but when necessary, we disagree and commit. We know that winners win.

Job Overview

This role is designed to amplify executive decision-making, drive market intelligence, and ensure the broader organization remains aligned with rapidly evolving regulatory, competitive, and market dynamics. The right candidate will function as a force multiplier — enabling the CBSO to focus on high-value strategic decisions while independently delivering insights that inform the executive team and shape company direction.

Objectives

Strategic Intelligence & Market Insight

  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis, pricing research, and market landscape monitoring.
  • Track regulatory developments, industry shifts, and macro trends impacting corporate strategy.
  • Develop concise executive briefings highlighting material risks, opportunities, and positioning gaps.
  • Provide structured updates to the broader executive team on critical developments.

Executive Strategy Enablement

  • Synthesize complex materials into decision-ready summaries.
  • Pressure-test strategic initiatives through research and data validation.
  • Support development of strategic narratives for Board and executive presentations.
  • Identify gaps in data, alignment, or execution and proactively address them.

Strategic Prioritization & Execution Discipline

  • Ensure the CBSO’s time is aligned to highest-value corporate objectives.
  • Track major strategic initiatives and maintain visibility into progress and risk.
  • Drive follow-through across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Surface misalignment, drift, or execution bottlenecks early.

Cross-Functional & Executive Interface

  • Act as a strategic liaison between the CBSO and executive leadership.
  • Translate strategic direction into actionable next steps for business units.
  • Ensure clear communication loops and accountability on strategic initiatives.

What you bring to our company

  • 3–6+ years in strategy, consulting, corporate development, investment banking, fintech, financial services, or a high-growth corporate environment.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize information into clear, executive-level insight.
  • Strong ability to create structure in complex environments, with experience implementing effective organizational systems, task trackers, and administrative processes.
  • Forward-thinking with the ability to anticipate challenges, manage shifting priorities, and proactively adjust schedules and resources to keep executives focused and on track.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the executive office with professionalism, diplomacy, and authority.
  • Advanced command of standard corporate software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, enterprise scheduling tools) and project management/task-tracking applications
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism, particularly related to corporate strategy, M&A activities, and sensitive business data.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments.
