We are building a specialized financial institution addressing the growing demand for digital asset services. Our primary business will focus on digital asset custody, providing secure, efficient custodial and fiduciary services for a variety of digital assets. We have applied for a national bank charter and will receive conditional approval in the near future.

You will work with foundational systems and processes to help shape our operating model and influence how a new category of financial infrastructure comes to market. Job Overview

As a Front-End Engineer, you will design and implement intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that power our web applications and APIs. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver secure, scalable, and visually engaging experiences. This role is critical in shaping the user experience and ensuring our platform meets the highest standards of usability and reliability.

Objectives

Design, build, and maintain the foundational front-end ecosystem and tools used across product engineering teams.

Develop dynamic, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces for web applications and APIs.

Optimize web performance, reliability, and security to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and security teams to meet business and technical requirements.

Implement best practices for accessibility, scalability, and maintainability in all front-end solutions.

What you bring to our company

Development experience: 4+ years in front-end engineering with a proven track record of building production-grade web applications and delivering high-quality user interfaces.

Technical proficiency: Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles. Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Svelte or React.js/Next.js (Vue.js or Angular is a plus). Familiarity with type systems like TypeScript or Flow.
Knowledge of build, test, and deployment tools in production environments.
Understanding web performance optimization and security best practices.
Track record of building supportable, observable applications with a keen eye for resolving UI/UX ambiguity.

Strong problem solver: Analytical thinker with attention to detail, strong debugging skills, and a mindset for continuous improvement.

Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and to interface and influence at all levels in the organization.

Maturity in the face of ambiguity: Defines questions instead of just answering them, works to resolve ambiguity, and is comfortable making decisions when ambiguity remains.

Domain familiarity: Knowledge of digital assets and enterprise-grade infrastructure or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
